Kolkata: Mamata visits fire site, announces compensation

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, who visited the Kolkata market fire site on Wednesday, announced a compensation of Rs.2 lakh each to the next of kin of those who had died. Banerjee said that Kolkata Police and fire brigade would investigate the matter and submit report to the government in three days.
