Lokpal bill: Santosh Hegde denies rift

Karnataka Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde, who is member of Lokpal bill drafting committee, denied rumours of a rift within civil society nominees of the panel on Saturday. While addressing media in Mangalore, Hegde cited reasons of prior commitments due to which he could not attend the drafting committee meetings over the past few weeks and asserted that would attend meeting on June 21. He further said that Anna Hazare should not launch another indefinite fast on the issue.
