Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon has confirmed that the issue of the resentment among Malaysia's minority ethnic Indian community was raised with the Malaysian High Commission. Addressing a news conference in New Delhi, he said India has been assured that the matter, which Kuala Lumpur considers an "internal issue", would be resolved.
