Maoist commander surrenders in Jharkhand to join mainstream

Disillusioned by the Maoist ideologies, a top rebel commander has surrendered before the police in Khunti district of Jharkhand. Identified as Charkhu Pahan, the rebel was encouraged by the rehabilitation policies mooted by the central government, which would help him to make a comeback in the society's mainstream.
