While attending Chief Minister's Conference on internal security in New Delhi on Tuesday Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that naxal violence, cross-border terrorism and religious fundamentalism are still posing a threat to the internal security of the country. While inaugurating the conference, Singh also said that left wing extremism had seen a decrease over the previous year, but the number of casualties among civilians had increased.
