Mirwaiz Umer Farooq held, released in Kashmir

Moderate Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and his associates were arrested and later released on Thursday by police in Srinagar. Farooq, chief of moderate faction of the All Parties Hurriyat (Freedom) Conference (APHC) was arrested along with several leaders while leading a protest march in summer capital Srinagar.
