Nation pays tribute to Pandit Nehru

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, along with President Pratibha Devisingh Patil and UPA president Sonia Gandhi, paid tribute to former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his 122nd birth anniversary in New Delhi on Monday. A religious prayer meeting was held at Nehru Memorial Stone, Shanti Van, to mark the occasion. Vice President Hamid Ansari and Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit were among others who paid floral tributes at the memorial stone.
