New performance review system for bureaucrats

The government has issued orders making it compulsory for the bureaucrats to clear the review performance after 15 years of their service. The minister of state in the Prime Minister's Office, V Narayanasamy, on Wednesday said that the step was taken to ensure efficiency within the Indian Administrative System. The officers will be asked to retire in public interest if they fail to clear the review performance test.
