No impact of transporters strike on vegetable prices

A day after the transporters went on a nation wide indefinite strike; the prices of vegetables remained unaffected at New Delhi's biggest vegetable market on Tuesday. The All India Motor Transport Congress have called indefinite strike since Monday seeking lowering of diesel prices besides the withdrawal of service tax on truckers. The operators at Azadpur vegetables and fruit market said the strike had not affected the prices of the perishable commodities.
