No pre-conditions for talks,Govt tells Maoists

Responding to the ceasefire offer by Maoists,Government today made it clear that it will not accept any pre-conditions for talks with ifs and buts and asked the Maoists to come out with a simple statement saying they will abjure violence.The Maoists on Monday offered a conditional 72-day ceasefire through media, and said that they are willing to talk to the government if it aborts its anti-Maoist operation,called operation Green Hunt.
