Commenting on the border disputes between India and China, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, on Friday opined that there is no pressure exerted by Beijing to impede development in the state's region of Ladakh that borders China. He termed the parleys on border issues as a continuous process in which diplomacy plays a key role. The Chief Minister also added that it has always been that militants attempted to perturb the peaceful situation and also emphasised that prolonged effective measures taken to thwart any troublesome activities in the state must be highlighted by the media.
