Onion prices bring more tears, might hit Rs 100 a kg

The average wholesale price of onion has more than doubled and it is now being sold at Rs 80 per kg because of short supply being blamed on incessant rains that have destroyed the crops. The sharp increase in its prices has brought tears to the eyes of the consumers who are seething with anger.
