Part 1: Highlights of railway budget 2013-14

Union railways minister Pawan Kumar Bansal on Tuesday presented the much awaited rail budget for 2013-14 in the Lok Sabha, stressing on the need to make railways financially sustainable for the benefit of passengers. Bansal admitted that passenger services have deteriorated in trains, adding that there is a constant demand for more trains.
