PM condemns Assam Violence in I-Day address

Addressing the nation from the red fort on India's 65th Independence Day, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday promised developmental schemes in Naxal affected areas. Saying the ethnic violence in Assam as "very unfortunate", Singh promised to make every effort to find out reasons behind the clashes.
