PM urges reduction of carbon footprint

India must reduce its carbon footprint and global warming trends to prevent climate change, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said while inaugurating the new power plant of Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) at Thirumayam in Tamil Nadu.
