PMO appeals to restore peace in Assam

Expressing profound grief over the deaths of people in fresh violence in Assam, union minister of state in Prime Minister Office, V Narayanasamy told that the PM Manmohan Singh would undertake a visit to Assam on Saturday to take stock of the situation and the steps being taken to control it.
