Politicizing sports must be stopped: Lalu

New Delhi/ Patna/ Mumbai, May 20 (ANI): RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav today came out in support of former cricketer Kirti Azad who is holding a one day fast in New Delhi demanding the scrapping of the IPL. Lalu said that the politicizing of sports like IPL must be stopped. Meanwhile, Janata Party Chief Subramanian Swamy too supported Kirti Azad, saying that politicians and cinema people should not involve themselves with the IPL. Kirti began his hunger strike following the recent series of controversies that will haunt the IPL for a very long time to come.
