Power industry to grow in India

The Indian power sector will add nearly 45,000 megawatt (MW) to its total installed capacity by 2013-14 to the existing production, according to RNCOS research report. Renewable energy is the new keyword in the power sector and most of public and private players are coming up with plans to tap the potential market, with the help of favorable government policies and initiatives.
