Prez polls: UPA names Pranab, gets SP, BSP support

Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on Friday announced finance minister Pranab Mukherjee's name as UPA's presidential candidate. She also appealed to all parties to support Mukherjee's candidature and added that there is already broad support for him. Meanwhile the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party have declared their support for Mukherjee's nomination.
