Quake-hit Sikkim back to normalcy

More than 20 days after a strong earthquake, measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale, devastated the region, life seems to be back on track in Sikkim. Schools have reopened in the region and students are back to the daily routine. However, the people are still traumatised due to the havoc caused by the devastating earthquake. The earthquake, that hit the state on September 18 and claimed over 80 lives, damaged several roads, buildings and houses, leaving many injured and homeless.
