Rahul Gandhi backs net neutrality: Internet being handed over to corporates

Accusing the government of trying to appease corporates by splintering the internet, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday asked the Centre to frame laws to ensure net neutrality. The Congress leader also asked the government to scrap the upcoming proposals by the Telecom Regulatory Board of India (TRAI), and instead bring a bill in Parliament to safeguard net neutrality.
