Rahul Gandhi criticises 'India Shining' campaign

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday ridiculed main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party's 'India Shining' campaign during the last election, saying it shone only in the houses of the rich. Addressing a public rally at Allahabad, Gandhi said that the BJP's English slogan was not even understood by the rural poor.
