Reshuffle in cabinet is PM’s prerogative: Congress

Amid discussions of a possible reshuffle in the cabinet, Congress leaders on Thursday said that reshuffling the cabinet is the prerogative of PM Manmohan Singh. According to media reports, the Prime Minister is likely to carry out a major reshuffle of his cabinet on Sunday because many berths in the cabinet were left vacant in wake of the resignation of Trinamool Congress and DMK representatives.
