Rise in use of tobacco users in Mizoram

Growing cases of tobacco-related cancer in Mizoram is ringing alarm bells for the state. Authorities say Mizoram has the highest incidence of lung cancer, mostly among the youth. Locals in Mizoram use tobacco in various forms including cigarettes, zou zeal, chewing of sadha and run nual. Tobacco users say it is hard to part with the addiction despite knowing the flip side.
