Rly fares hiked for first time in 10 yrs

Union railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal has announced a fare hike with effect from January 21-22 midnight, aiming at modernizing the railways. This is the first railway fare hike in ten years, with the Government adding that people are ready to pay for the added comforts.
