Samajwadi party workers halt train to protest rail fare hike

Samajwadi Party workers brought the Ganga Gomti express to halt while it was enroute to Lucknow to protest the central government's rail fare hike. The Central government's decision to increase rail passenger fares by 14.2 percent have met with a stiff resistance from opposition parties.
