SC rejects Bhullar's mercy plea, upholds death sentence

The Supreme Court on Friday has ruled that a death sentence cannot be commuted to life imprisonment on the ground of delay in executing the capital punishment and thus rejected the mercy petition of Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar.
