Acting on a tip-off by a villager who spotted it, security personnel in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir swiftly unearthed a secret tunnel along the India-Pakistan international border. Alongside complimenting the villagers who suspected the existence of this tunnel, District Superintendent of Police of Samba area, Israr Khan confirmed that the tunnel had originated from across the border. He also mentioned that it was most probably the creation of smugglers or militants. Meanwhile, Ramdayal, a local of Chillayari said that the tunnel was about 20 feet deep and that it had iron pipes and wires in it.
