Security alert in Kashmir

Security has been beefed across Kashmir ahead of President Pratibha Devisingh Patil's arrival in Srinagar on Friday. Police have sealed all roads to the airport and around the venues where the President is scheduled to visit. At least 700 personnel of the CRPF, IRP and state police have been pressed into service in and around the venue of the President's programme.
