Security beefed up across India ahead of I-Day

Ahead of India's 64th Independence Day on August 15, security arrangements have been tightened in several parts of the country. The authorities have put in place tight security arrangements in Srinagar, where separatists have called for a boycott of the celebrations amid a two month long agitation. A ground-to-air security setup has also been put up in New Delhi.
