Sensex surges above the 15K mark ahead of the budget

Ahead of the Budget announcement, the Sensex has opened above the 15000 mark. At 10 o clock in the morning, the Sensex gained 96 points at 15,009 and the NSE Nifty was up 27 points at 4452. The Markets have, thus, already shown a sharp run-up ahead of the budget. Buying interest was seen in capital goods, real estates and power stocks.
