Shortage of quality willow hits bat industry

Makers of cricket bats in Indian Kashmir complain of shortage of quality willow. The cricket bat industry in the valley, which employs about 10,000 people, is a worried lot, as this shortage of the quality willow will affect their livelihood. Bat makers like Mudasir Dar; complain that the government has failed to implement their recommendation even after three years.
