Devotees from across India visited the revered River Sindhu during a three-day festival held at Leh in Jammu and Kashmir. This ancient ritual was witnessed by a large gathering of people who made offerings and took a dip in the holy water. Ladakh's mesmerising dances, tempered by religion, enthralled the audience with their simplicity and direct expressions. Each dance began with a homage to the Gods with a deliberately slow movement of feet.
