Singh and Obama reaffirm Indo–US ties

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh received a red carpet welcome at the White House in Washington DC on Tuesday, where he met US President Barrack Obama. During the meet, Singh and Obama stressed importance on the close ties between India and the United States, and highlighted the need for the two countries to collaborate in dealing with the challenges of the 21st century.
