Snakes and turtles released in Gorumara Sanctuary

The officials from the Jalpaiguri range of West Bengal's Forest Department released 26 snakes and two turtles in Gorumara Sanctuary, in Jalpaiguri district recently. A snake charmer named Mintu Chowdhary also lend his helping hand in this 'Operation Liberation'. Earlier, these snakes and turtles used to sneak out of the jungle area and visit the locality skirting the forest area.
