Stumpy, the World cup Mascot, sent off to the venues

As India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka gear up to host the cricket world cup beginning Feb 19, the official mascot of the cricketing extravaganza, Stumpy is being prepared in Hyderabad. The 10-year-old bluish-grey elephant, Stumpy, has been selected by the ICC as the official mascot because it symbolises the strength to reach goals and eventually win. Along with Stumpy, the World Cup Trophy inflatable is also being prepared in Hyderabad and sent off to the venues hosting matches.
