The 'silent' PM makes his 100th public address

Often criticised for being silent on issues of national interest, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday delivered his 100th public address of the year. While addressing a UN meeting on biodiversity at Hyderabad, Singh said that the country was striving to strike a balance between its growth needs and the conservation of its rich flora and fauna.
