The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in a meeting with the franchise-owners of the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams in Mumbai on Thursday decided to form a three member committee to make recommendations to the board about the cash-rich IPL tournament. A spectrum of issues was discussed with the team owners and management of the IPL, pertaining to the future functioning of the league. Later speaking to the media, Vijay Mallya, the liquor baron owner-franchisee of Royal Challengers Bangalore said that former Indian Test players - Mansur Ali Khan 'Tiger' Pataudi, Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri would constitute this three-member committee.
