Tribals protest in Orissa

Thousands of tribals in Orissa on Tuesday staged a protest demonstration demanding the notification of a law tabled by the federal government to protect their dwellings. The tribals took out a rally under the banner of Campaign for Survival and Dignity or CSD, demanding that the government notify “The Scheduled Tribes and other Forest Dwellers or Recognition of Forest Rights Act, 2006” with immediate effect.
