UP mishap: Railways order high-level probe, PM announces compensation

Railways on Thursday ordered a high-level inquiry by the commissioner of rail safety into the train accident in Uttar Pradesh which left 40 people dead and many injured. A Railways spokesman said the inquiry has been initiated by the ministry of railways and it will be carried out by the commissioner of rail safety.
