US hopeful on nuclear deal

The State Department of US is hopeful that Congress will approve the US Indian civilian nuclear agreement his year, an accord that will end a three-decade ban on nuclear trade with India. If the deal is backed by the Senate and House of Representatives, the fuel and technology deal would help India to meet rising energy demand and open a market worth billions of dollars.
