Yogendra Yadav detained: Video shows he was dragged by Delhi Police

Activist Yogendra Yadav was detained by Delhi Police late on Monday night from the site of a farmers' protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Earlier, a 'tractor march' for the cause of farmers' rights was organised by the Swaraj Abhiyan group led by Yadav and Prashant Bhushan. Yadav, who was trying to march towards the Prime Minister's official 7 Race Course Road residence, has alleged that he was "brutally assaulted". Bhushan, who is also Yadav's lawyer, tweeted that he was not allowed to enter the police station where Yadav was detained. Meanwhile, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter to describe Yadav's protest as a peaceful one and condemned the incident.
