Omicron Scare: Delhi bans X-Mas and New Year parties as it overtakes Maharashtra

India's Omicron cases have gone past the 200-mark. In an advisory, the govt has urged states to activate COVID-19 War Rooms. States have also been asked to consider lockdowns, curfew & curbs on gatherings. Rushing to the contain the tally, Delhi has banned Christmas & New Year gatherings.
