Iran’s Kayhan draws red line for Mecca pact: target Axis of Resistance, face decisive response

Iran’s hardline Kayhan newspaper has warned Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan that any use of their new Mecca Joint Defence Agreement against Iran-aligned groups—including Yemen’s Houthis—would trigger a “decisive” response “on the battlefield.” The pact, signed in Mecca on August 7, makes an armed attack on any of the three signatories an attack on all three.
