Israel's feared Heron drone gets more traction after Army deployed it at LAC

The Czech Republic will commence talks with Israel to purchase three Heron drones. Amid border standoff with China, the Indian Army procured the Heron-TPs last year. The potent Israeli drones have been deployed along the Line of Actual Control. The Heron-TP is a medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) drone for strategic missions. The drone aids intel gathering, surveillance, target acquisition & reconnaissance. Large internal volume for a variety of payloads; mission endurance above 30 hours. Key advantage - Satellite communications (SATCOM) for beyond line of sight range.
