Kashmiri pandit killed: Teargas fired at protesters in Budgam; Mufti blames govt

A day after terrorists shot dead Rahul Bhat, a Kashmiri pandit and government employee in Budgam, widespread protests erupted in the valley. Government employees and Rahul Bhat's family members took to streets demanding justice from the J&K administration. Police had to fire teargas to quell the protests. Rahul Bhat was laid to rest today and his family has claimed that there has been a conspiracy behind his killing. However, politics erupted over the issue with Shiv Sena and PDP slamming the centre for alleged inaction in the case. Mehbooba Mufti accused the Modi government of trying to create Hindu-Muslim divide in Jammu and Kashmir. Sanjay Raut on the other hand said that the centre should stop blaming Pakistan and take steps to ensure safety of Kashmiri pandits. Watch this video for more details.
