With violence once again marring elections in West Bengal in the fourth round of voting, Congress’ Salman Soz and Bharatiya Janata Party’s Swadesh Singh debate over who is to blame for the lawlessness. While Congress alleges that the violence is a drama staged by the Trinamool Congress and the BJP, the latter claims that it is the biggest casualty of violence perpetrated by the ruling party in the state. Multiple instances of violence were reported from various parts of Bengal, but most prominently, the vehicle of Union Minister and BJP candidate from Asansol, Babul Supriyo was attacked.
