Manipur Leader's Speech In Nijjar's Surrey Gurudwara Stokes K-Link Fears; Indian Agencies Alert

A Manipur tribal leader’s speech in Canada has raised fears of Khalistan links amid the diplomatic standoff between New Delhi and Ottawa over the killing of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Kuki leader Lien Gangte, who spoke at a gurudwara in August, sought Canada’s intervention in violence-hit Manipur. The gurdwara, where he delivered the speech, was reportedly once headed by Nijjar.
