Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaaih called the Modi government ‘neech’ (despicable) over rice supply issue. “When we asked for rice, they agreed and then backtracked. You have to decide how ‘neech' (despicable) they are. They are anti-poor,” the Karnataka CM said at an event, following which BJP alleged that the Congress insulted PM Modi’s poor background, adding that the grand old party is jealous that a humble leader has occupied the PM chair.
