‘All we are asking is…’: Juhi Chawla explains why she filed petition against 5G

Actor and environmentalist Juhi Chawla has explained why she filed a petition against 5G network implementation in India. ‘We are not against 5G. In fact, we are welcoming of it. All we're asking the authorities, is that they certify 5G safe,’ Chawla said in a video posted on Instagram. She further asked authorities to publish all the research done on the subject to allay any fears people may have about 5G. This comes after the Delhi High Court slapped a cost of ₹20 lakh on the actor and her co-petitioners by describing the plea as ‘defective’, ‘abuse of process of law’ and filed for ‘gaining publicity’.
